Summary
Honorable marketing tells the truth about what the product does. Seven principles (from Section 7): never sell AI as oracle; lead with what the owner’s clients get; no volume vanity or slop; truthful grounded claims; invitation not manipulation; those with ears to hear; offer the dyad (owner + named pup), never a faceless bot hero. Channels each carry a gate and a never. This paper teaches the charter’s ethics; it is not a funnel recipe.
Verbatim excerpt
From Sermon Charter v0.5 §10:
Principles of honorable marketing (derived from Section 7) 1. Never sell AI as an oracle. We sell a humble ally that answers from the owner's own work and marks what it does not know. … 2. Lead with what the owner's clients get, not with the machinery. … Bubba lesson… (Unverified: the Bubba story itself is not in the files I read. Daniel to supply.) 3. No volume vanity, no slop. One beautiful, matched gift beats ten generic ones. … 4. Truthful claims only. … Voice Codex Gricean QUALITY test… 5. Invitation, not manipulation. … "Ends with an invitation, never a funnel"… 6. Those with ears to hear. We seek disciples; we don't chase. … Silence after one honest invitation is a complete answer. 7. Offer the dyad itself. … "Zero protagonism — silicon is never the hero"…
Channels (condensed): LinkedIn (Daniel’s carbon voice; no silicon-as-Daniel without APPROVED) · Askers (owner APPROVED; no invention beyond corpus) · Initium book/cairns/QR · GitHub canon · Email first touches (no blast pressure).
